Babies

Last night I volunteered at the children's hospital and my first visit was with an ADORABLE little baby.  I just sat there with her for an hour and I could NOT get enough.  She was so cute and sweet, just enjoying being held.  The nurse said she had not been out of her crib all day, so sad.  It's hard to judge because I don't know her families circumstances but it is also very hard to imagine leaving a little baby in the hospital by herself.  Anyway, I'm trying a new thing, it's called Semi Wordless Wednesday, a blog that I read, Flip Flops and Pearls had the idea and a bunch of other blogs I read participate so I decided, why not try it...expand my very small blog world!

In honor of the darling baby I visited with last night, I thought I would showcase some of the work of Anne Geddes, have you heard of her?  She does the most amazing shots of babies, you can learn more at: http://www.annegeddes.com/

Aren't they just the most adorable pictures ever?!?  So creative, how she gets those babies to pose in the way she wants them I would love to know.

Anyway, holding that baby just re-affirms how excited I am for my new career path (and no, I'm not going to be a mom anytime soon).  More to come on my new life plans coming soon!  In the meantime, something to think about: have you done something just to make yourself happy lately?  Something that truly enjoy?  Make sure to take a few moments every day or week that really makes you happy - it's your life, don't forget about you!
